Any progress is good

 When your progress is miniscule, you really need to take the time to be thankful for just where you are at. I have made some very small efforts in the garden. Planting the tiniest amount of carrots (a skinny little row, no more than 2 feet long....and then 2 weeks later, I planted another. I am hoping in another 2 weeks I should see definite signs of the first lot, so I can fill in the holes...and plant another 2 feet. Lettuces have gone in, but only after the chooks had had a fair go at them. A cucumber plant has been planted. I have a watermelon to plant but currently it is still in it's pot inside the glass house as some frosts are likely.  My son is due home this weekend, and mid next week he is due to go into hospital for some dental surgery, which I am dreading. Meanwhile, I have yoga two nights a week. Tnight being the second night (and I.Am.So.Tired, that I don't really want to go...but I will. It's progress.

How many times is a re-set acceptable?

 I make the mistake of making these posts far too long. So I have deleted everything, and am starting again. During the first lockdown phase (March 2020) it occurred to me just how unprepared we are for a life changing event. We were fortunate, we still had access to all the "essentials" Food, Petrol, Fresh water etc etc, but it could have been so much worse, which put me into the mindset of shouldn't we get ready in case?... Combined with this has been the dissatisfaction of my lifestyle and ill health, and again...hasn't this eye opening event made me want to consider what could be done to make the lifestyle I want achievable? During that first lockdown I spent a LOT of time watching you-tubers doing their thing. Most inspiring...and have I done anything to do MY thing? No, not really...and there have been a lot of excuses about that, but the thing I have realised is I don't have to do the WHOLE thing, I just have to start, where I am at, with what I have got, a...
