Any progress is good
When your progress is miniscule, you really need to take the time to be thankful for just where you are at. I have made some very small efforts in the garden. Planting the tiniest amount of carrots (a skinny little row, no more than 2 feet long....and then 2 weeks later, I planted another. I am hoping in another 2 weeks I should see definite signs of the first lot, so I can fill in the holes...and plant another 2 feet. Lettuces have gone in, but only after the chooks had had a fair go at them. A cucumber plant has been planted. I have a watermelon to plant but currently it is still in it's pot inside the glass house as some frosts are likely. My son is due home this weekend, and mid next week he is due to go into hospital for some dental surgery, which I am dreading. Meanwhile, I have yoga two nights a week. Tnight being the second night (and I.Am.So.Tired, that I don't really want to go...but I will. It's progress.
